Natalie Neas Coleman

Natalie is from Parrottsville and graduated as valedictorian from Cocke County High School. She is the daughter of Jeff and Montye Neas. She graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University with degrees in secondary education and English.

Natalie taught seventh grade English and reading in Gallatin, Tennessee, where she was named her school’s 2013-14 Teacher of the Year.  Natalie has worked in a variety of roles in education, including her current work teaching English for a local tutorial and leading the children’s program at her church.  She also continues to enjoy writing and being a volunteer tutor for adult learners. She resides with her husband, Jason and son, Avery in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

    The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
