Natalie Neas Coleman

Natalie is from Parrottsville and graduated as valedictorian from Cocke County High School. She is the daughter of Jeff and Montye Neas. She graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University with degrees in secondary education and English.

Natalie teaches seventh grade English and reading in Gallatin, Tennessee, and she was named her school’s Teacher of the Year for the 2013-14 school year. She was selected as one of 30 Hope Street Group Tennessee Teacher Fellows. She also continues to enjoy volunteering at CWJC, where she is encouraged and inspired by the students as they achieve their goals. Natalie, her husband, Jason and son Avery reside in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

    The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
