Lauren Williams Bible

Lauren is a native of Greeneville and graduated from Greeneville High School. She is the daughter of Lori Williams and the late Mark Williams. She spent her first college years at Furman University where she was a business administration major before transferring to East Tennessee State University. Lauren graduated from ETSU, summa cum laude, with a degree in business administration.

At Furman, she was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma honor society. She completed internships with the Mountain States Health Alliance strategic planning office, in Johnson City, and Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.

Lauren is the Operations Manager for Piton Labs, a boutique software development agency that focuses primarily on startups.  She, her husband Matt and their daughters Evelyn Kate, Luella June and Amelia Sue, reside in Greeneville.

    The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
