Jillian graduated from Sullivan South High School and attended Northeast State Community College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her A.S. in Theatre. During her time at Northeast State, she received multiple nominations for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and a scholarship offer for the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. At ETSU, Jillian worked as a museum assistant at the B. Carroll Reece Museum. She was a teaching assistant intern at Northeast State through the ETSU psychology department. She is excited to be serving as a NiswongerCare Advisor at West Ridge High School.

The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
