Adam Joshua Miller

Adam is a native of Hampton, Tennessee, where he graduated as valedictorian from Hampton High School. He graduated cum laude from Tusculum University with a degree in business administration. He earned a master’s in business administration (MBA) at East Tennessee State University. He was honored as a 2014 recipient of Tri-Cities Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty.

He is a network administrator for the AMI Department at BrightRidge, in Johnson City, Tennessee.  He resides in Elizabethton, Tennessee with his wife, Jessica and is the proud father of, Fiona, a 2026 graduate of Elizabethton High School.

    The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
