Dr. Tracy Ballew

I have had the pleasure of teaching secondary ELA since 2001.  For the last 13 years, I have enjoyed classroom teaching at Seymour High School, having been afforded the opportunity to serve as department chair, mentor, and eventually administration (for the last four years).  I have two children: one in college and one in high school.  My husband is also an administrator for the same county, and together we have furthered our education over the years, culminating in earning our doctorates in 2017.  We believe that education is a mission field and are honored by the calling.  I am looking forward to learning more about this new role and am excited about the program.
