Cole is a native of Mosheim and a graduate of Greeneville High School. He is the son of Lloyd and Carolyn Seaton. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in biomedical engineering. Cole was president of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and vice president of the Biomedical Engineering Society.
Dr. Seaton earned his M.D. from East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine. He was named a Quillen Medical Scholar each year. He completed his residency in radiology at University of Tennessee Medical Center, in Knoxville. Cole is a Radiologist with Blue Ridge Radiology and Medical Director of Radiology at Greeneville Community Hospital. He and his wife Lyndsey reside in Greeneville with their children, Camryn and Avery.
The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
