Brandi is from Paulding, Ohio, where she graduated from Paulding High School with highest honors. She is the daughter of Dixie Ricker and Kenneth and Lisa Ricker. Brandi graduated with a degree in education from the University of Michigan.
She completed three years as a middle school science teacher at Chuckey-Doak Middle School where she also served as director of the CDMS Drama Club. She participates in the Tusculum College Arts Outreach program. Brandi completed a masters degree in counseling/school counseling at Carson-Newman University.
Brandi is a stay-at-home mother. She, her husband Jeremy and daughter Eleanor reside in Greeneville.
The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
