Bradley Scott Brown

Bradley is a native of Elizabethton, Tennessee, where he graduated as valedictorian from Elizabethton High School.  He is the son of Scott and Jackie Brown.  He graduated with a double major in civil engineering and finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Bradley is a Managing Director at KKR, where he leads the East Coast Software Private Equity team.  He serves on the Board of Directors for Alludo, Barracuda, Cloudera, Ensono, Omnissa, OneStream, Optiv, OutSystems, and Reliaquest. Previously, he worked at Pennant Capital Management, a long/short equity hedge fund, in New York; Hellman & Friedman, a private equity firm, in San Francisco; and Goldman Sachs, in New York.  Additionally, he serves on the non-profit boards of the Niswonger Foundation, the International Storytelling Center based in Jonesborough, Tennessee and the Palau Ministry.

Bradley loves spending time with his wife, Jenna, and their daughter, Nayva. They enjoy traveling, exploring new restaurants, and the golf course.

    The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
