Kim Gass serves as a Regional Coordinator with the Niswonger CareerConnect program while maintaining deep roots in Greene County. A retired educator from Greeneville City Schools, she holds degrees from Carson-Newman University (BS, Masters) and East Tennessee State University (EdS). She actively serves with Isaiah 117 House of Greene County, Greeneville/Greene County Literacy Council, and First Baptist Church of Greeneville. Kim and her husband, Alan reside in Greeneville. They have two adult children, Zachary and Grace.
The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
