Francisco is the son of Fernando Ochoa and Rosa Marie Ochoa-Vargas. He graduated from University School with academic Top 10 honors. He served as vice president and co-president of the French Club and Pep Club. He was a member and captain of the cross country and soccer teams, he was also a member of the Beta Club. He is trilingual, speaking Spanish, English, and French. He participated in Tipton Haynes summer program as a junior board member.
Francisco graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in neuroscience and economics. His desired professional field is business strategy. He completed an internship with Schneider Electric, working as a Sales and Marketing eCommerce Intern. Francisco volunteered as a student consultant for the Urban League of Middle Tennessee. He worked as an SEO Law Fellow at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, in New York.
He earned a JD/MBA degree from Duke University. Francisco works with Bain & Company in Dallas, Texas, where he and his wife, Michelle reside.
The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
