Benjamin Keefauver Fox

Ben is from Gray, where he graduated as valedictorian from Daniel Boone High School. He is the son of Mark and Beth Fox. Ben graduated from Washington University, with a degree in marketing and human resources.

He played varsity football and served as a teaching assistant for classes in quantitative business analysis. He received the Washington University football team’s award for “Most Inspirational” and the honor of “Academic All-UAA.” During his time in college, he completed internships with the Tusculum College football program and the Johnson City planning department.

Ben completed a master’s in business administration at Bryant University. He served as a graduate assistant, coaching the defensive line for the Bryant football program. He was promoted to the position of Wide Receiver Coach at Bryant University.

Ben is Head Football Coach at Maryville College. He previously served as Offensive Coordinator at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky and as Offensive Coordinator at Huntingdon College, in Alabama. He, his wife Katie and children, Kinsley and Bowen, reside in Maryville.

    The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
