Tyler Lee Boyd P.A.S.

Tyler is a native of Parrottsville and attended Greeneville High School, where he was valedictorian. He is the son of David and Deborah Boyd. Tyler graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in ecology, evolution, and organismal biology, with a double minor in American political science and sociology. He pursued a second undergraduate degree, graduating cum laude from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in dairy science, with a dairy enterprise management focus.

Tyler is currently the general manager of Jerseyland Sires, a Jersey dairy genetics company in Hilmar, California, where he directly oversees day-to-day operations and the PRIMUS program. He is 2019 Associate Chair of the All-American Jersey Show Futurity. He is a member of Young Dairy Leaders Institute Class 11. He was elected to the American Jersey Cattle Association’s Board of Directors, representing Merced County, California. Previously he interned for Genex/CRI’s dairy genetics department in Shawano, Wisconsin, and was employed as a marketing specialist for World Wide Sires, Ltd., a global dairy genetics marketing company based in Visalia, California.
