Matt is from Mosheim and graduated from West Greene High School. He is the son of Martell and Vicki Bible. He graduated magna cum laude from Tennessee Technological University with a degree in chemical engineering.
He completed four consecutive summer internships with Jarden Zinc Products in Greeneville, where he worked in research and development. He participated in a study abroad experience in Paris, France.
Matt is employed with Eastman Chemical Company as a Group Leader and Technology Manager within the Chemicals Development Division. He, his wife Lauren and daughters Evelyn Kate, Luella June, and Amelia Sue reside in Greeneville.
The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
