Dr. Allison Seeley

Dr. Seeley has served in education for over 20 years, teaching English Language Arts at the middle and high school level.  She has also served as a district curriculum and instructional coach, as a literacy coach across several districts, and currently coaches district and school level ELA coaches and lead teachers.

Allison is tenured with Johnson City Schools and has previous experience teaching in other rural and urban districts in Middle Tennessee.  She earned her BS in English Literature from the University of Tennessee, and her MEd as well as her EdD from Milligan University.  She resides in Jonesborough, Tennessee.

    The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
