Clay Wilkerson

Clay Wilkerson is a dedicated professional with over 16 years of experience in higher education. After graduating from West Greene High School, Clay earned a degree in Religion from Carson-Newman University and holds graduate degrees from Tusculum University and Lee University. His extensive career includes roles in financial aid and admissions at Tusculum, Carson-Newman, and Walters State. A native of Greene County, he proudly serves the students and families of Chuckey-Doak High School.

The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
