Braylee Polson

Braylee grew up on a farm in Surgoinsville. In 2017, she graduated with honors from Volunteer High School.  She continued her education at East Tennessee State University, where she received the Fine and Performing Arts Scholarship.  During her time at ETSU, she was a part of the a-cappella group Greyscale, served as the wig master for many productions, and performed with the theatre department.  She graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre with a minor in Dance. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, playing with her four pets, and going on adventures with her husband Joseph. Braylee serves both Science Hill High School and Volunteer High School as a NiswongerCARE Advisor.

The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. This dream was envisioned by Scott M. Niswonger, who founded Landair Transport, Inc. and Forward Air Corporation. These companies were the first two Greeneville-based companies to be taken public in the history of Greene County, Tennessee. Jointly, the companies have combined annual revenue of over one-billion-dollars and employ more than 5000 people.
